چکیده

PurposeIn modern radiotherapy techniques, to ensure an accurate beam modeling process, dosimeters with high accuracy and spatial resolution are required. Therefore, this work aims propose a simple, robust, small-scale fiber-integrated X-ray inorganic detector investigate the dosimetric characteristics used in radiotherapy.MethodsThe is based on red-emitting silver-activated zinc-cadmium sulfide (Zn,Cd)S:Ag nanoclusters proposed system has been tested under 6 MV photons standard dose rate patient treatment protocol. The article presents performances of terms linearity, repeatability, reproducibility, percentage depth distribution, field output factor. A comparative study shown using microdiamond dosimeter considering data from recent literature.ResultsWe accurately measured small profile 0.5 × cm2 at 100 µm LINAC system. linearity 400 MU/min less than 0.53% 1.10% deviations perfect for regular smallest field. Percentage measurement agrees measurements within 1.30% 2.94%, respectively beams. Besides, stem effect analysis shows negligible contribution fields smaller 3x3 cm2. This highlights drastic decrease convolution point-like detector, especially dimension characterization. Field factor good agreement while comparing it dosimeter.ConclusionAll results presented here anticipated that developed can measure delivered region interest, claim distribution hence be suitable candidate characterization quality assurance

Characterization of Inorganic Silicalite-1 Membrane to be used for the Separation of Greenhouse Gases

Defect free MFI type silicalite-1 membranes have been fabricated inside tubular TiO2 ceramic supports to be used for the separation of greenhouse gases. In this work, single gas permeance experiments have been conducted. The results of which in conjunction with adsorption isotherms for each gas investigated have been used to calculate the effective diffusivities of N2, CH4, and CO2. The permean...

Dosimetric characterization with 62 MeV protons of a silicon segmented detector for 2D dose verifications in radiotherapy

Due to the features of the modern radiotherapy techniques, namely Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy and proton-therapy, where high spatial dose gradient are often present, detectors to be employed for 2D dose verifications have to satisfy very narrow requirements. In particular they have to show high spatial resolution. In the framework of the European Integrated project MAESTRO (Methods an...
